Kemp Station welcomes the opportunity to support research related to
it's mission. Studies related to the ecology, management,
conservation, and preservation of northern Wisconsin's natural
resources qualify. Researchers must be affiliated with the University
of Wisconsin-Madison, other research or educational institutions, or with public and private agencies.
If you are uncertain if your research qualifies, please contact Tom
Steele at 715-356-9070.
Kemp Station offers researchers
-
Low-cost lodging;
-
Hard-working and conscientious labor;
-
A
modern research laboratory with computers and office space;
-
High-speed
Internet access with wireless connectivity throughout the Station,
-
A
fully-equipped workshop; and
-
Ready
access to a diverse range of aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems.
Researchers wishing to use Kemp Station must complete a
Project Information Request
Form.
This
simple one-page form allows us to track station use and it is
especially helpful when we submit grant proposals seeking extramural
funds. Researchers with on-going projects are asked
to complete a PIRF for each calendar year. |
